We invite anyone from Washtenaw County to explore facilitating a transcription work session in your communities.

What is special about this group? It's your willingness to learn the transcription process, and then organize your own transcription work sessions with groups, clubs, or organizations you are engaged with, helping us get more documents transcribed by community volunteers. A collaboration with you means we can expand awareness AND grow a network of volunteers to help us get these deeds transcribed (45K of them by November)!

If you host a group, we provide a stipend to help cover your time, snacks, and other supplies you might need. We can chat about this more when you join a Facilitator Training.
